  • Emma Young:

Just wanted to say what a great event the Woodford 10km was yesterday. For your 2nd year I thought everything was really well organised. The marshalling was top notch and using km markers at every km was much appreciated. It was a great community event with a great feel to it.

Please pass on my thanks to all involved.

    Well done!

  • Thanks for organising a great event. This was my 1st time running it and to say it was a challenging event would probably be an understatement!!! Will hopefully run it again next yr

  • Dear Chris,

I took part in the 10km race at Woodford today and wondered how/when we might be able to see the race results? It was an enjoyable and challenging run for me, one which I would love to take part in again.

    Regards

    Kathryn Johnson

  • Don Bramwell:

  • Dave Thomas:

Absolutely brilliant event, really really enjoyed it and looking forward to next year already!!!

Excellent event again, atmosphere superb… even the weather played part!! keep it going for Woodford

  • Sam Fox:

Ran the Woodford 10k this morning. Brilliant loved the on off up hill down hill route. Well marshalled. The whole morning went swimmingly. Came first too! Great prize, that was enough to run like mad. Chatted with some of the male runners on the way round, cheeky and funny. Plus no problems over taking other runner really curtious. Thanks again and roll on next year.

  • Vanessa:

So excited to be running in a local race – thanks for organising!

  • James:

Great event – well organised – see you next year

  • Cath:

Very well organised, easy to enter, well organised on arrival at the hall with numbers and chips, free banana was a bonus, the course was well marshalled and I enjoyed the off road element very much! Great medal and goodie bag at the end (better than the Great Manchester!), would definitely run it again next year, thanks to all who organised it, hope you raised lots of money

  • Elaine Kirkham:

A very well organised run, enjoyed the course and would love to do it again next year. Well done to all the organisers. hope you raise lots of money for Stepping Hill hospital.

  • Sarah:

I’d agree with most comments. Great atmosphere on the day and everyone so welcoming. Organisation excellent, loved the goodie bag.
Difficult to run at your own pace on the single track so if you are timing yourself that’s frustrating. Definitely coming back next year. PS Thanks to all the runners as you were all really friendly, it’s encouraged me to do more events.

  • Cheryl:

My first 10k and I really enjoyed it – will definately be up for the same next year!! Thought the course was great – enjoyed the different terrain – made for an interesting run – particularly the muddy slope. Well done to everyone involved in the organisation.

  • Liz:

I’d reiterate all the comments above……exceptionally well organised and everyone was so encouraging and friendly too. I enjoyed the combination of road and off road…. mud and all! I’ll definitely be adding my name to next year’s list!

  • Jemma:

Well done everyone! Fantastic course and a brilliant day. Everyone was very supportive!

  • Evelyn Frearson:

Thanks for a great morning. I was impressed with the organisation, you had thought of everything, even a warm up to music. I would do it again next year, muddy slopes and all.

  • Paul Muldoon:

Great event, well organised with no fuss. Without a doubt would do it next year…….even the mud was fun!!!

  • Jo Thomas:

well done to all the organisers and helpers and to the people who watched along the way – it does make a difference to us runners. A great run, fun in places but enjoyed it overall. 1 big lap means no repeats which I am thankful for!!!

  • Richard Lowth:

Great morning….impressed by all the hard work ….I’m sure you’ll see it grow even more for next year….count me in… all the best
