This 10K event begins and finishes at The Woodford Centre (SK7 1PS) – the first 2km of the route is on quiet rural roads then turning onto public footpaths and tracks. Towards the end of the run there is a slight grassy hill before finishing on flat quiet rural roads. The Woodford 10K has been organised specifically to raise funds for local charities/causes. This year we are raising funds for St Ann’s Hospice…… The purpose of St Ann’s Hospice is to provide excellent care and support to people living with or affected by life-limiting illnesses. As a charity, all our services are free of charge, but to continue our work we have to raise around £16,000 each day. It is only through the generosity of local people that we are able to continue to provide the highest standard of care to our patients, their families and carers.
