Organiser’s notes:

This 10K event begins and finishes at The Woodford Centre (SK7 1PS) – the first 2km of the route is on quiet rural roads then turning onto public footpaths and tracks. Towards the end of the run there is a slight grassy hill before finishing on flat quiet rural roads. The Woodford 10K has been organised specifically to raise funds for local charities/causes. This year we are raising funds for The Seashell Trust, which is a school, college and residential home based in Cheadle Hulme caring for children and young people with severe and complex disabilities, combined with significant learning and communication difficulties which include little or no oral language. As a school and college specialising in communication, they take students from across the country, demonstrating what a unique learning environment they provide to students and their families. Donations are needed to provide the best facilities and life experiences possible, enhancing the quality of life the students have and providing them with every opportunity to maximise their potential as individuals. Please join us for this friendly 10K event held on a delightful rural, mainly flat course, and finishing with an excellent goody bag and medal.
